Decay or not to Decay! that is the Questiion

so we are now seeing a smaller example of how quantum mechanics really works . if cpt is violated only when there is a time inversion then i have to pose the question would the decay occur if no one was watching? the physics equivalent to if a tree falls in the forest when noone is around to hear it < does it make noise? i think decay happens when time is inverted because of our fundamental cocepts about time .
