Gravity what a Heavy concept !~

Gravity is supposed to be generated by the rotation of the earth on its axis! so if it stopped suddenly everything would fly out into space thats just seems crazy! surely there is another reason 4 our atmosphere staying close to the planets surface why is it just soilds that are held by gravity? I think the gravity around planets affects time somehow slows it down maybe Gravity is best experienced when breaking free of it by jumping flying climbing etc then u feel the pull of gravity upon your body clearly and its exhilerating too!
